PANEL CONVERSATIONS

BUILDING THE RESILIENCE OF SOCIAL SECTOR ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

The pandemic has caused major disruptions around the world and the social impact sector is no exception to the disruption. Organizations are grappling with unprecedented challenges as work practices have changed dramatically. Leveraging technology to digitize and automate key business processes and facilitate remote modes of program delivery will not only ensure service continuity but drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.

FOSTERING A KNOWLEDGE-DRIVEN ECONOMY AND OVERCOMING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE FOR AN INCLUSIVE FUTURE

The simultaneous growth of the Internet, mobile telephone, and digital technologies has revolutionized the role of knowledge in modern societies. As countries around the world are increasingly moving towards knowledge for competiveness and productivity, it is critical for Africa, as part of the global economy, not to be left behind.

THE LANDSCAPE OF PHILANTHROPY: TECHNOLOGY AND THE FUTURE OF THE SOCIAL SECTOR

Today’s global crisis has exposed the operational vulnerabilities of social change organizations. As the impacts of covid-19 evolves, needs across communities continue to multiply and extend beyond healthcare to social and economic challenges.
